Chief Commercial Officer

This is a key role to work directly with the CEO and CTO in driving the sales direction and internal processes etc.

We have developed and successfully implemented:

  • The Connected Crew Solution, a tablet based solution for Cabin Crew, enabling them to sell, read and capture information about passengers, read operations and safety manuals, and digitize all paper trails in the Cabin Operations. Connected Crew is sold under the MI Airline brand.

  • The AirFi platform, a Bring On Board IFE platform for passengers to order Catering and Duty Free, enjoy daily updated content, and interact with each other, using their own smartphone or tablet. The AirFi platform and box are sold under the AirFi brand.

We are a small and distributed team, doing innovative things and disrupting the Onboard Sales and IFE market with our smart solutions. We look for a team player that is used to both set out a strategy as well as doing some of the ground work.

Location: Global, at first mainly Europe

Job Responsibilities:

  • Generate direct sales through generating leads, grow prospects, write and drive proposals, influence decision processes at clients, and close business

  • Partner with the Management Team to drive new business development activities

  • Develop, implement and manage a plan to achieve company sales goals and achieve growth targets.

  • Hire and manage a small team of (senior) staff for sales and marketing.

  • Direct all company sales and marketing activities.

  • Establish sales processes and hold sales team accountable to using them appropriately.

  • Continuous analysis and improvement of department-related programs, policies, processes and procedures.

  • Continually review existing solutions, pricing and competition to ensure the company maintains a competitive advantage.

  • Oversee the management of the company’s Sales and Marketing expense budgets.

  • Identify and close long term relationships with international accounts.

  • Collaborate with product development team to improve product strategy and inform teams of new market needs.
